Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 1st July 2025

These Terms and Conditions apply to all coaching services provided by Sam Wigan Coaching to corporate (B2B) and to individual (B2C) clients. By engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. These may be referenced on our website or issued as a signed agreement.

1. Services Provided

Sam Wigan Coaching offers coaching, leadership development, workshops, and related services. Services may be delivered in person, online, or in group or one-to-one formats.

The specific nature, schedule, and format of services will be agreed in writing before delivery.

2. Fees and Payment

For Organisations (B2B):Fees, scope, and terms will be detailed in a proposal or statement of work. Payment terms are typically 30 days from invoice, unless otherwise stated.

For Individuals (B2C): Fees will be agreed in advance and confirmed by email. Payment is due in full before the first session, unless otherwise agreed.

For both Organisations and Individuals:

Late payments may incur interest in line with the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

All payments are non-refundable.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Corporate Clients: Cancellations or changes to workshops or sessions must be made with at least 10 working days’ notice. Cancellations at any time may incur full or partial charges depending on the preparation or venue costs incurred.

Individual Clients: You may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 48 hours may be charged in full.

4. Confidentiality

We treat all client information and discussions as confidential.

We will not share your information without consent, except where required by law or where there is a risk of harm.
Group workshops may include agreed-upon norms around confidentiality and psychological safety.

5. Data Protection

We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Any personal data shared with us will be used solely for the purposes of delivering services and maintaining communication.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials provided (written, recorded, digital, or otherwise) remain the intellectual property of Sam Wigan Coaching unless otherwise agreed in writing. They may not be reproduced, shared, or sold without written permission.

7. Liability

We aim to deliver high-quality services but do not guarantee specific outcomes. Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law: We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the service in question.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in writing with reasonable notice.In the event of termination, any services already delivered will be invoiced and payable, and any payments already made remain non-refundable.

9. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we will seek to resolve it amicably through open dialogue. If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to mediation before considering legal proceedings.
